Sugary Products, Candy, Winegum and Sweets Production Facility

Konya Seker made bonbons with liquid sugar for the first time as a result of its R&D activities…The facility, established to strengthen the main field of activity and increase the welfare of its producing partners to receive a higher share from the products with high added value, where sugar is used as an input, produces for the domestic market and exporting. The main principle of the facility, which has superior features in comparison to its counterparts in terms of its production lines and technology, for candy, soft candy (toffee and jelly) and other sweets it produces, is healthy, natural and additive free production as well.


Quality control and process control activities are carried out meticulously during the process from input check to the shelf, at the factory, all of whose production lines use state of the art technology. In addition to chemistry, microbiology and packaging laboratories, there are process control laboratories in the factory. Analysis devices in these laboratories have state of the art technology and carry out input check, process control and end product analysis of all raw materials, belonging to chocolate flavored, sugary and bakery products. Including physical analyses, about 300 analyses are conducted per day. However, precision of quality control processes are increased by having verification analyses at accredited laboratories. In addition, GDO laboratory has also been established in the facility.

As per its respect to humans policy, the highest quality and the most trustworthy products are produced at the facility since 2006, which has ISO 9001 and ISO 22000 quality management and food safety certificates and the facility produces trustworthy products under Torku brand by also having obtained halal certificate.

There is a strong R&D infrastructure in the backdrop of Torku brand, which also known for its innovative aspect. Capabilities of the machinery has been designed to produce products, which demonstrate the innovative side of Torku brand. When the new product groups, which will be produced in addition to the existing product range are added, product range of the companies, which are in the leader position, will be reached. Torku produced candy and winegum from natural sugar beet without using glucose syrup for the first time in Turkey with its R&D investments.
